Based on the regulation, we create a matrix that maps the vendor's product and/or system features to these requirements. Depending on the specific environment of the institution, they can than take this information, and implement a comprehensive privacy and security plan.
We have a relationship with the University of North Texas (UNT) school of engineering, and access to their faculty expertise and security laboratories for specialized training, projects and security assessments. They can simulate real time hospital network environments, including the configuration of firewalls, DMZ, etc. and recommend specific implementations for an institution. Furthermore, OTech participates in research projects regarding security with UNT.
